What it’s all about

Onboardbase is a secure secrets management and environment configuration platform designed for developer and engineering teams.

It allows distributed teams to safely centralize, share, and sync application secrets — API keys, database logins, environment variables — across local, staging, and production environments, without exposing them through insecure channels like Slack, email, or raw configuration files.

How I helped

I worked on the backend as a backend engineer, focused on the platform's core developer tooling.

• Maintained and enhanced the core secrets-management and protection tooling.
• Built a centralized authentication system connecting all of Onboardbase's developer tools.
• Built the Node.js and Python CLI tools for secrets management.
• Partnered directly with the CEO and a cross-timezone team on technical architecture decisions.
• Assisted the frontend team with development of the web interfaces.
